I booked the Torre mainly for its prime spot, but I should've paid closer attention to some warning reviews. The hostel boasted a cozy sitting area and a shared kitchen, perfect for simple meal prep. The atmosphere was overshadowed by the owner, Marisa, whose strict rules and constant yelling made it hard to relax. Communication was tricky since she primarily spoke Spanish, which could lead to misunderstandings. The dorm might have had space for four, but I ended up with just one housemate - a small silver lining. The heating was decent, but the shower was problematic with poor drainage, leaving me in ankle-deep water. For those seeking value, this place might not be worth it; You can find better options elsewhere that balance price with comfort and service. I wouldn't recommend Torre unless you're desperate for a budget stay in Ushuaia.
